Industrial control systems have shown to lack effective security measures that have increased its vulnerability to frequent cyber-attacks. Furthermore, implementing a security protocol for these systems can cause the system to slow down and lead to wasteful high expenses. A solution for this is to establish a SCADA system that can offer a thorough security measure while at the same time maintain efficiency. The results will be measured by observing how well the SCADA architecture performs against a series of cybersecurity attacks. As a result, an ICS system will perform relatively similar to another system while providing countermeasures against these security attacks.
